has anyone noticed rapid eye blinking when you talk to your kids.  when i talk to lilliana she'll close her eyes and then she blinks really fast.  i dont if its because shes excited or what.

Ben used to do this too when he was little. At the time, I was puzzled but she probably is happy and is processing what you are saying and is trying to respond in some way . Ben does eye blink responses to those he is closest with.  You might want to try to encourage her to blink yes/no. Ben does a sustained (longer blink) for yes and no blinking in response to a question is taken as a no.   We always ask more than once if he does not answer in case he missed part of the question.

One of his teachers who knows him well actually teases him when he chooses not to answer and he will smile and sometime answer and sometimes will still not. Little devil:)   I find that a lot of background noise is totally distracting for Ben when asking questions. He likes it quiet so he can process without trying to filter out other noise as his vision is not his strongest sense his hearing is right now.    

She is very cute.  She must love her new sister.

paul also does the rapid eye and blinking me and my husband talk to him but repeat the question several times aswell we sometimes get an anwser like he will open his mouth and moan for yes and just stay and a trance or get a littlew fussy for no we always know what he wants and doesnt want
